Portfolio Submission Requirements & Application Information
The submission must be ALL DIGITAL. Please no prints. Submissions should be emailed as attachments; if this absolutely isn't possible, please contact FPW and we will arrange for CDs of your work to be delivered to the judges. You may also create a gallery online specifically for this submission, meeting the requirements below.
A. Portfolio
- Between 10 and 15 JPEG images - single images OR a reportage
- Compression level 9 on Photoshop
- IRTC data: include photographer name, caption, location with each image
- all images should be photojournalistic in nature; ie no staged, commercial or art photos
- should represent the overall vision and talent of the photographer
B. Photographer Statement
- one page
- double spaced
- 12 point font
- one inch margins
- written statement of your goals and purpose as a photographer - in English or Spanish
- your name, phone, contact info, address, etc.
All of the above should be emailed to:

In the subject line, you must write:
FPW Submission, your last name, essay language (Spanish or English)
